Artist Profile

Sébastien is a French artist living in Tulle. Singing in French and English, he is a multi-instrumentalist - playing guitar (main instrument), bass, drums, percussion keys and even traditional violin. He writes his own songs, records his own performances and produces all compositional elements inline with his intended creative direction (sourcing other musicians from different disciplines when required). Working as an ensemble he is part of a theatrical movement for the cultural sector and has featured on a number of releases dating back to as early as 2006.

His influences can be heard in his music and include:

The Kinks, Pink Floyd, Gainsbourg, David Bowie, Sonic Youth, The Pixies, Radiohead, The Buzzcocks, Elliot Smith, The Sparks, Queen, Tim Buckley, The Flaming Lips and more.

[Ô Les Chœurs - 2016]

As a professional musician, Sébastien's career in the arts was established at an early age while he was studying, getting his first taste for the art when experimenting with recording and overdubbing cassette tapes using it's integrated microphone.

The passion grew from there and has led to a long and fruitful career in music education, performance and recording. with writing, theatre and live shows, he lives and breathes music, being well known in the local community and its various projects.

Being a one man band, his live shows are raw and much more electro with a range of pre-programmed midi sequencers triggering hardware synths and samplers to make a hybrid pop culture style that is accompanied with live guitar and vocals.

Keep up to date with Sébastien and his various projects by following him on Instagram and Facebook. As things start to open up again his calendar will be filled with more events.
